Welcome to NH AWHONN
 
The New Hampshire Section of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (NH AWHONN) is a statewide organization serving women's health, obstetric and neonatal nurses in New Hampshire through education, networking and advocacy.
 
The National Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), is a not-for-profit association of 22,000 health care professionals in the United States, Canada

and the Armed Forces.

Elections Results!
 
Election of a new NH AWHONN Section Chair and Secretary Treasurer took place this past summer
 
We would like to welcome our new leaders
 
Section Chair elect is Martha Leighton of the Elliot Hospital.
 
Secretary/Treasurer elect is Kyle Hotaling of Exeter Hospital.
 
A note on the National Elections:
 
We would also like to congratulate former NH Section Member and chair, Kathleen Hale. Kathy is curently the associate vice president of nursing at Maine Medical Center and is the  2010 president-elect. Also joining the AWHONN national board is Dr. Mimi Pomerleau, from our neighboring Massachusetts. Mimi will serve as a director representing Region V in 2010.
